Big 12 Week 11 Review

One team proved that they are better than anyone thought they were while the conference race heats up at the top.

Baylor got a huge win over Oklahoma on Thursday night, proving that they are the favorite to win the Big 12. Oklahoma Still has a chance in the Big 12, as they play Oklahoma State, and a win in that could get them back to the top. Baylor showed that they can beat someone at the top of the conference, with the 41-12 win, but they are going to have to play this good every week, as they still have to play Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Texas.

The problems continued for Texas Tech on Saturday, as they got blown out, 49-26 against Kansas State. Kansas State has been getting some big wins the last few weeks, now improving their record to 5-4 (3-3). Texas Tech is now officially out of contention for the conference championship. They can still make a good bowl game, but they aren't as good as they seemed a few weeks ago.

Texas is continuing to impress as they pulled out a 47-40 win over West Virginia in overtime. They are still undefeated in conference play. It is seeming like the conference championship could come down to the season ending game between Baylor and Texas.

Oklahoma State destroyed Kansas 42-6, and are showing that they are the only other team along with Baylor and Texas in major contention for the Big 12 title. They still have yet to play Texas, Baylor, and Oklahoma, so with wins in those games, they could win the conference.
